Navya Naveli Nanda, the granddaughter of Jaya Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan, recently shared her profound admiration for her grandmother, considering her the epitome of a superstar. On her podcast 'What The Hell Navya,' the starkid delves into a discussion about social media alongside her mother Shweta Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. Recently, a teaser of the episode was unveiled, featuring Navya addressing the two women as 'the wise voices of the internet.'

To this, Shweta expressed, "I wish we had the internet when I was growing up because it would have made homework and stuff so much easier.” To this, Jaya added, “When I was young, we had to book a call, and there were two types of calls: one was ordinary, and the one was an emergency call. If you spoke to your boyfriend, it had to be an emergency call."

Subsequently, Jaya Bachchan disclosed the reason behind her absence from social media, stating, "There is already enough information about us available to the world. We don't feel the need to share on Instagram."
