'XO Kitty' was recently released on May 18 featuring Anna Cathcart in the lead role where the makers have now officially announced the coming of season 2. 'Xo Kitty' centers around Katherine Song Covey AKA Kitty, who gets a scholarship at 'KISS', a highly-reputed Higher-Secondary school located in Seoul, South Korea. Announcing the official coming off her spin-off series, Anna Cathcart wrote on her social media, 'Grab your helmets, kids, this is gonna be a wild ride.'

Netflix announced the second season of the film on Wednesday, where the official social media made of Netflix added the caption, "pssst... XO, KITTY IS RENEWED FOR SEASON 2, pass it on!!!" The video featured the entire leading cast of the series where they can be seen passing notes to each other with 'XO, Kitty' Season 2 written on it. Toward the end of the video, Cathcart can be seen saying, "Thank you so much to everyone who watched season one. We cannot wait to do it again."
The original author of the 'To All The Boys' book series is also the executive producer of 'XO, Kitty' where he said, "We all fell so deeply in love with Lara Jean and her story. So it felt like the greatest gift to give to Kitty was to let her as a character kind of set off on her own two feet and not put her in the shadow of either of her sisters."
The first season of 'XO, Kitty' ended up with one loose ending which was a pretty heavy cliffhanger, and was natural to return with another season. The first season revolved around the relationship of Kitty and Dae, the second season might follow up the story of Kitty mingling in a complicated relationship with Dae and his friend Min Ho.
