Chetak Screen Awards 2026: The 2026 awards season has officially been dominated by one name that is Dhurandhar. Dhurandhar first instalment hit theatres in December 2025 while the second part was released in March 2026 and continues a strong box office run. At the Screen Awards 2026, held on Sunday, April 5, Aditya Dhar’s spy-thriller proved to be blockbuster. 

Zakir Khan’s Humorous Jab At Bollywood Over Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar Goes Viral

The highlight of the evening wasn't just the trophies collected by Dhurandhar team, but a brutal roasting by comedian Zakir Khan. Hosting alongside Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar, Zakir Khan, who announced a break from stand-up comedy in January 2026, took a sharp dig at alleged fake praise within Bollywood regarding Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar historic success.

In a viral clip, Zakir Khan was heard saying, "Kitne hi congratulatory post aap daal de, kitne hi story daalde, kitne hi interview mein aap bolde my favourite film, magar sach toh yeh hai ke Dhurandhar se sabki jali toh hai." Additionally, he didn't stop there, "Bomb film mein foote lyari mein par dhuan udaa hai Bandra se Juhu mein." Fans have hailed the comedian for 'spitting facts,' with social media comments calling him the 'GOAT' for his fearless commentary.

Dhurandhar Wins In 13 Categories At Screen Awards 2026

Dhurandhar team bagged 13 awards. Ranveer Singh took home the Best Actor (Male) trophy for his dual-layered portrayal of Jaskirat and Hamza. Aditya Dhar was honoured as Best Director, while Akshaye Khanna bagged Best Supporting Actor (Male) for his role as Rehman Dakait. Furthermor, the technical team od Dhurandhar 2 was also recognised, with wins in categories including Best Action, Best Background Score, Best Cinematography, and Best Special Effects.

Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Collection Day 18

As of Day 18, Dhurandhar 2 has officially collected Rs 1,013.77 crore net in India, making it the first-ever Hindi film to cross this milestone domestically. According to reports in Sacnilk, the film's worldwide gross collection has reached Rs 1,605.74 crore. With a stellar supporting cast including Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun and Arjun Rampal, the Dhurandhar wave shows no signs of slowing down as it continues its record-breaking run.
