Hrithik Roshan and Saba Azad have been dating for several years now. The couple has made their romance public and are often spotted together in public events. Contrary to what one might assume after Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan’s divorce, actor Zayed Khan remains close to Hrithik. In a recent interview with Zoom, the Main Hoon Na star clarified his ongoing strong bond with Hrithik Roshan, despite the family changes. Zayed also shared his thoughts on Hrithik Roshan and Saba Azad’s relationship, emphasizing that his relationship with the Fighter actor has remained unaffected and positive over time.
During the interview, Zayed Khan shared insights about his family dynamics post-divorce between his sister Sussanne Khan and Hrithik Roshan. Hrithik has since started dating actor Saba Azad, while Sussanne is in a relationship with Arslan Goni. Zayed humorously compared their family gatherings to the popular American sitcom Modern Family, saying, “We are like the new modern family. It is crazy; there is extreme acceptance from everyone. It has taken a while to get there, but now that it is together, it is beautiful. We all party together, we get together under one roof, and have a ball.”
Zayed also spoke about his enduring bond with Hrithik, emphasizing how he still turns to him for advice. “Anytime I am unsure about anything that I have shot and haven’t liked, I would call Duggu (Hrithik Roshan) and ask for his opinion. He is very good. Also, when someone doesn’t need to be nice to you for any reason, they will tell you things objectively, and he is one such person. I really love him.”
When questioned about any potential rift between him and Hrithik following the divorce, Zayed clarified, “Never. We never drifted apart. In fact, we did everything that a brother-in-law should at that time. While it was and when it wasn’t… we were always the same because, at the end of the day, his children are my children. They have grown up in my hands. We are too mature for all of this. There are more important things. It was their choice, and what had to happen, happened.”
Hrithik and Sussanne, who married in December 2000, welcomed their first son, Hrehaan, in 2006, and their second son, Hridhaan, in 2008. They decided to part ways amicably in 2014, maintaining a friendly relationship for the sake of their children.
Meanwhile in 2022, Hrithik Roshan and Saba Azad made their relationship official. The couple soon started appearing at events together, often posing for the paparazzi, even though they never publicly confirmed their relationship. Not long ago, Saba mentioned that her voice-over offers had dried up because she was dating Hrithik. She criticized those who assumed she wouldn’t need to work due to her relationship with the successful Bollywood star.
