Zwigato On OTT: Shahana Goswami expressed her disappointment over the delay in the OTT release of her film Zwigato, starring Kapil Sharma, earlier this year. Despite receiving positive reviews and accolades, the film has finally found a digital platform for viewers after more than a year since its theatrical release. Directed by Nandita Das, Zwigato debuted at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival and was released in Indian theatres on March 17, 2023.

In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Goswami had conveyed her frustration at the film’s prolonged absence from OTT platforms, stating, “It’s very unfortunate that Zwigato is still not on any OTT platform for viewing, and I honestly don’t know the reason behind it.” Despite her concerns, she remains hopeful that the film will eventually reach a broader audience, emphasizing its potential impact if viewers had the opportunity to watch it.

When and Where to Watch Zwigato?

For those eagerly awaiting the chance to see Zwigato, the film is finally going to be available on Prime Video India starting October 25, 2024. The OTT release date has been revealed on the official website of the OTT platform (About Amazon India - www.aboutamazon.in).

Goswami had expressed her optimism about the movie's OTT release, stating, “I still have hopes. It’s never too late for something good to come out.” She believes that the eventual release on a digital platform could make the film feel even more special to its audience.
