Tragedy In Gurugram: DPS Student Dies After Jumping From 18th Floor, Police Probe Suicide

An 18-year-old Class 12 student has died after jumping from the 18th-floor balcony of a residence at Shobha City Society in Sector-108. The incident occurred around 4 am on Friday, within the jurisdiction of the Rajendra Nagar police station.

The deceased has been identified as Aryan Sehwag, a student at DPS school in Delhi.

According to police, Aryan and his mother were at home when the incident took place. His father, Vikram, was away in Rohtak for work. Residents of the society informed the police, who arrived at the scene, took custody of the body, and began an investigation.

The initial police investigation suggests suicide. The Rajendra Nagar police have seized the student's mobile phone to aid in the investigation. Officers are also questioning people in the vicinity and reviewing CCTV footage from the society.
