The Aadhaar issuing body UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) now allows the updation of name, address, date of birth, phone number, gender, email and photograph. While most of these can be done from your personal screen, for a few you would need to pay a visit to your nearest Aadhaar enrollment centre.
How To Change Photo In Aadhaar Card? Can You Do It Online?
Aaadhaar cards are almost required everywhere in the country for multiple purposes, whether booking a ticket or enrolling to any institution or for any other official processes. However, to update your photograph one would need to physically visit the nearest enrollment centre where they can get their old photo replaced.
To ensure that your photograph on the Aadhaar card is up to date follow this step-by-step guide:
Step 1: Visit the official UIDAI website - uidai.gov.in.
Step 2: Download the Aadhar enrollment form from the website. (You can also collect it from the nearest Aadhar Enrollment Centre.)
Step 3: After filling in the requisite details of the enrollment form, submit it to the nearest Aadhar Sewa Kendra.
Step 5: A biometric verification will take place following which an executive will click a new picture to be updated on the Aadhaar card.
Step 6: A fee of Rupees 100 will be charged for the photo update.
Step 7: An acknowledgment slip along with an Update Request Number (URN) which can be used to track the status of updates on the UIDAI website will be provided to you.
Step 8: The new photograph will be updated within 90 days of the process, after which you will be able to download the digital document or get a PVC card.

Your demographic details are a significant part of the Aadhaar card which now can be changed according to your convenience, right from your own device. Here's How:
Step 1: Visit the My Aadhaar official portal online (myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in) and log in to your account
Step 2: Click on Address Update
Step 3: Select the 'Update Aadhaar Online' option through which you can add your new address Follow the instructions next and fill in the details. Click on 'Proceed to Update Aadhaar.'
Step 4: A fee of Rupees 50 will be charged and after submission, a Service Request Number (SRN) will be provided.
Step 5: You will receive a confirmation message about your address updation once the internal review is completed.
