Days after being sacked as the national coordinator and ‘political successor’ of his aunt and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati, Akash Anand said that he would keep fighting for the Bhim mission and the society. In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Akash called Mayawati a role model for the Bahujan community.
"It is because of your (Mayawati) struggles that today our society has got such political strength due to which the Bahujan community has learnt to live with respect," Anand wrote in a post on X. “You are our universal leader. I will keep fighting till my last breath for Bhim Mission and my society," he further said.

Akash Anand’s remarks come after former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati announced her decision to remove him from his post as party national coordinator and political successor, just five months after giving him the big role.
Announcing her decision on X, Mayawati said that she took the decision in the larger interest of the party and Anand is being removed from the positions till he attains "full maturity". Mayawati also said that her brother and Akash’s father Anand Kumar will continue to fulfil his responsibilities as before.
Why Mayawati Removed Akash Anand As Her ‘Political Successor’?
Mayawati’s action against Akash Anand came after he was booked on April 28 in a case of violation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) along with four others for allegedly using objectionable language at a poll rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Sitapur. In his poll speech on April 28, Anand called the BJP "atankwadiyon ki sarkar (a government of terrorists)".
"This government (UP) is a bulldozer government and a government of traitors. The party that leaves its youth starving and enslaves its elderly is a terrorist government. Taliban runs such a government in Afghanistan," Akash Anand said at a poll rally in Sitapur.
