Aligarh Expressway: Now, the journey from Khandauli to Aligarh is going to be easy. Commuters will take just an hour to reach Aligarh. The 65-km-long Khandauli-Aligarh Expressway will consist of four lanes and will be built at a cost of Rs 1,620 crore. It will be directly connected to Yamuna Expressway. Companies from Faridabad and Ghaziabad have received the tender. People of Aligarh and Hathras will also get an alternative route to Jewar Airport. This expressway will connect Aligarh Defense Corridor to Khandauli Yamuna Expressway leading to rapid development on both sides of the expressway, jagran.com reported.

Aligarh Expressway Details

In future, it can be made into a six-lane expressway. Both the companies will start work together from June. The construction of the expressway will be completed in two years. 390 hectares of land is being acquired for the same.

Aligarh Expressway Connectivity: From Aligarh To Asroi Hathras

The first phase of the expressway will be built from National Highway 91 in Aligarh to Asroi Hathras. The 28-km-long expressway will be built at a cost of Rs 800 crore. The work of this part has been given to KRC Company Faridabad. The company begin from June. The contract will be signed with the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) Agra section in a month.

Asroi Hathras To Khandauli Yamuna Expressway

The length of this stretch is 37 km. It will be constructed at a cost of Rs 820 crore. JSP Project Pvt. Ltd. Ghaziabad has got the contract for it. The contract will be signed with NHAI in a month. The company will start taking soil samples from May and construction will begin from June.
