The flight will be run by Alliance Air, which is a branch of Air India and will operate three times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The initial fare will be Rs 2,000 and the travel time will be an hour and 10 minutes.

However, the Hindon flight has only 17 seats and an average occupancy rate of 50 per cent. The Ludhiana flight, also part of the scheme, was scrapped due to a lack of air traffic clearance.
