Weather Update: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), on Thursday, issued a warning of turbulent weather over the Andhra and Odisha coasts due to the formation of a cyclonic storm. Owing to the movement of an atmospheric depression, which originated over the west-central Bay of Bengal, towards the Andhra coast, IMD forecasted squally winds along the coast reaching up to a speed of 50 kmph on Thursday.
The Met Department also predicted similar winds for Friday which will gust at fairly high speeds of 40-50 kmph reaching up to 60 kmph before slowing down.
Warning for Fishermen issued:
Along with the turbulent weather prediction, the weather body also issued a fresh warning for the fishermen of Andhra Pradesh against venturing into the sea on November 16 and 17.
