Delhi-NCR News:  Transpeople will soon be seen driving cabs on the roads of Delhi-NCR. This comes as a start-up led by two undergraduate students announced a new app-based cab service which will employ only transgenders and women as drivers. These cabs will operate from the Delhi airport with an initial fleet of 50 cabs. Gradually the number of cabs will be increased to 300. Out of 50 cabs, women will drive 40 cabs, while trans people will operate 10 cabs.

Inspired by Prime Minister Modi's Startup India, Ruman, an undergraduate B.Tech student from the YMCA college Faridabad, and Suraj Kumar Singh, pursuing a B.Tech from North Cap University, Gurugram, formed a company named Arbin Fiakare Private Limited to provide app-based cab service like Ola and Uber to the Delhi-NCR reason. The duo is confident that their cab service will not only help solve the urban mobility problem of the NCR region but will also let the trans community make a special identity.

The company's service will start from this week
The company's service will start from this week. Keeping safety in mind, all cabs will be equipped with GPS and a panic button in the cab. In case of any problem, the passenger can directly alert the cab company's office. The company's CEO Ruman and COO Suraj Kumar Singh said that the main objective of starting the service is to bring Transpeople into the mainstream.

"Women have now started coming forward in every field, but still no one gives jobs to trans people. They are seen from a different perspective. Currently, they have a list of 100 women and transgenders who are ready to do the job. The number of cabs will be increased as per the demand," said the founders as quoted by Jagran.com.

Women will not hesitate to go alone late at night
Women will not hesitate to go to any area of NCR late at night from Delhi Airport. According to Suraj Kumar Singh, women hesitate because of the male drivers. He said that as the company will own all the cabs, it will have 100 per cent control over the drivers and cab movement. This step will ensure safety.

Due to GPS, the complete information about where the cab left from, at what time and where it reached will remain updated in the control room. Not only will there be a facility for booking through the app, booking facility will also be made available from the counter at the airport. Transgenders want people to call them transpeople. Keeping this in mind, the word transpeople will be used instead of transgender in the company.

Other companies should also give a chance to Transpeople
Transpeople Devansh and Krishna say that there is no dearth of talent within them. A large number of transpeople can do better in every area. Companies should give them a chance. A company named Arbin Fiacre Private Limited has given them an opportunity. They are better excited to serve the people. They want to work in such a way that other transpeople are also inspired to do better.
