Annual FASTag Pass Pre-Booking Dates:  The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways announced the pre-booking dates of the Annual FASTag pass, which will be made live on the Highway Yatra app. The pre-booking will start from next week, i.e first week of July, and preparations are underway. Earlier, the authorities said that the annual FASTag pass will allow a private vehicle owner to access 200 free trips on National Highways and National Expressways from August 15 for Rs 3,000.

According to the official information, users are showing a huge interest in the annual FASTag pass and are looking forward to pre-booking.

Details About Pre-Booking Of Annual FASTag Pass

There will be pre-booking of annual passes, an official confirmed. For flawless implementation of the pass scheme, toll plazas were instructed to complete the preparation by June 30. The network of 600 national highways in the country is 1.46 lakh kilometres long, out of which Uttar Pradesh has 12 thousand kilometers of National Highways.

The system of annual FASTag pass will be effective at 119 toll plazas. The Eastern region of NHAI has started the preparations and is expected to roll out the pre-booking feature by July 1, but it may take an entire week to roll it out nationally.

Regional Officer of NHAI Eastern Region, SK Arya, said, “Annual pass will be activated on the Highway Yatra App and NHAI website only. The annual pass will be activated after confirming the eligibility of the vehicle and the FASTag linked to it. After successful verification, the user will have to pay three thousand rupees for the year 2025-26. The annual pass will be activated on the registered Fastag in two hours.”
