The Army College of Nursing website has been allegedly hacked by a Pakistan-based hacker group called Team Insane PK, days after the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir. The hacker attack took place two days after India announced five strict measures against Pakistan including the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty and declaring the defence advisors in the Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi "persona non grata".

The landing page of the institution on Friday evening carried a banner with a line on top, "YOU ARE HACKED !!! TEAM INSANE PK" and below it a disturbing image associated with the April 22 terror attack at Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir.

Army College of Nursing is a school that runs on its own and is managed by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES). Someone familiar with the situation said that it's not directly controlled by the Indian Army. This nursing college is located in Jalandhar Cantonment.

India took a stronger step against Pakistan On Thursday, announcing cancellation visas for Pakistanis, but not the long-term ones for Hindu people from Pakistan. Most Pakistanis in India now have to leave within three days.

Following India's actions, Pakistan retaliated with a series of measures, some mirroring India's steps. These included a statement asserting its "right" to suspend all bilateral agreements, notably the significant Simla Agreement, and the closure of its airspace to Indian airlines.

Hackers targeted the Army College Of Nursing's website, defacing it with an inflammatory message that included references to the two-nation theory.

According to army sources, the Army College Of Nursing, being an autonomous institution, will need to seek assistance from the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), the national agency responsible for handling computer security incidents.
