The poem roughly translated as

Happy Independence Day

O soil of Hind, what doubt can there be about your greatness?

The river of divine bounty flows for you ceaselessly.

From your forehead shines the light of eternal beauty,

By God — what splendour, what height of honour and glory!

The rose is blessed with the nightingale, the garden is blessed with the rose,

And we, the helpless ones, are blessed with our beloved homeland.

The buds of our hearts will blossom in this garden,

From this soil we have risen, and into this soil we shall return.

Meanwhile, from commoners to dignitaries, people across the country were celebrating the national festival with the zest and zeal. jest and zeal. Prime Minister Narendra Modi led colourful Independence Day celebrations. He turned the Red Fort into a launchpad for the next chapter of India’s rise. On the 79th Independence Day, he made a series of bold announcements that signal a nation ready to leap, not just step, into the future.
