Bandikui–Jaipur Expressway: The long-awaited Bandikui–Jaipur Expressway, a 67-kilometre access-controlled road, is now complete and set to open soon. The project, which faced an eight-month delay, is expected to reduce travel time between Bandikui and Jaipur to just 30 minutes. Built at an estimated cost of Rs 1,368 crore, the expressway is designed for vehicles to travel at speeds of up to 120 km/h.
Officials from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) confirmed the completion of construction and safety audits. The expressway will be opened to the public after final approval from the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, as per a Times Now report.
Bandikui–Jaipur Expressway: Route Details And Toll Charges
The route is split almost equally between Dausa (32.7 km) and Jaipur (34.1 km) districts. It includes five toll booths and a virtual toll plaza at Shyamsinghpura. Cars will be charged around Rs 150 for a one-way trip.
Connectivity to Delhi, Jaipur and Ring Road
Once operational, the expressway will allow commuters to travel between Delhi and Jaipur in just 3 to 3.5 hours. For Jaipur-bound vehicles from Rotary Circle, a slip lane at the Bagrana crossing will connect to the new link road. Vehicles from Ring Road will use the cloverleaf ramp to join the expressway, which also offers exits towards Agra Road and Ring Road.

Bandikui–Jaipur Expressway: Railway Overbridge Delayed Launch
According to NHAI officials, the final segment of the project—a Railway Overbridge (ROB)—delayed the launch. Although there were plans to open the road using a temporary diversion, it was dropped over safety concerns. “We decided not to risk public safety and instead focused on completing the ROB with proper standards,” said NHAI’s project officer.
Bandikui–Jaipur Expressway: Part Of Larger Greenfield Project
The expressway is part of a larger greenfield initiative and is expected to ease traffic congestion while supporting smoother travel to Delhi, Jaipur Railway Station and IGI Airport, which may take an additional 30–45 minutes from the expressway’s endpoint.
