In a horrific incident that took place in Bengaluru, a five-year-old boy was injured after two men hit the window of a car in which he was sitting. The incident took place on Thursday at nearly 9:30 PM near Maaramma Temple in Choodasandra, when Anoop George, a techie was returning home from Diwali shopping along with his wife and two children.

A video of the incident was also shared by George on X. It shows the moment when George was attacked. While the small boy can be heard crying, Anup shouts, "Mera bachcha tha udhar (my child was there)".

The minor who was bleeding right after the accident, was rushed to a nearby hospital where had had to get three stitches.

"Two men, who were on a two-wheeler, stopped my car after overtaking, asked me to roll down the window, and without any provocation, hit the rear window glass with a rock. Both my children were in the back seat. My five-year-old son had to get three stitches on his forehead. He is fine now. There was a pool of blood on the seat. My daughter, 11, is traumatised from the incident, and so are we," George told the Deccan Herald.

 

The police have arrested the primary suspect, Krishna Moorthy, 24, and are currently looking for his accomplice.

According to a report by the Deccan Herald citing the police, the statements of Moorthy and George are contradictory.

"The suspect has claimed that the victim’s car had touched his bike somewhere in Bellandur and damaged it. He left without stopping. When confronted, there was an argument, which led to the incident," a senior police officer told DH.

Further investigation into the matter is underway.
