A man, along with his son and his grandson were killed in Andhra Pradesh's Kakinada following a clash that broke out between two groups on Thursday. The bodies of the victims were found all soaked in blood with sickles in their hands. Their heads were smashed too.

According to the initial probe, the attack was fueled by longstanding rivalries and offensive remarks made by the victims about the accused families. The deceased have been identified as Bathula Ramesh, Bathula Chinni (son), and Bathula Raju (grandson).

"We are investigating the incident from all angles, and preliminary evidence suggests a long-standing feud between the families. We will arrest the accused soon," senior police official Ramakrishna Rao was quoted as saying by NDTV.

Andhra Pradesh Onion Bomb Accident

In a different incident that took place on the same day in Andhra Pradesh's Eluru, a man died after the firecrackers he was carrying on a two-wheeler exploded. The incident occurred when two persons were transporting a bag of firecrackers bought for Diwali celebrations.

The bag containing "onion bombs" and other crackers exploded after falling on the road, resulting in the death of the rider on the spot and injuring six others on the road.

Delhi Man Nephew Killed On Diwali

In another separate incident that took place in Delhi, a 40-year-old man along with his nephew were shot dead while his 10-year-old son was injured after two armed men opened fire outside their residence in Delhi's Shahdara on Diwali, October 31.

The deceased have been identified as Akash Sharma alias Chottu and his nephew, Rishabh Sharma (16).

The incident took place while the victims were celebrating Deepavali outside their house in Shahdara's Farsh Bazar area.
