Bengaluru News: A Bengaluru resident recently shared how he managed to recover his lost backpack from a Vayu Vajra airport bus, just hours after misplacing it, thanks to the quick support from BMTC staff.

According to his post on X, the man had landed in the city around 1 AM and boarded a Vayu Vajra bus from Kempegowda International Airport. While leaving the bus with his luggage, he accidentally left his backpack behind on the seat. Within minutes, he realised it was missing, but the bus had already moved on.

He immediately searched online for a helpline and contacted BMTC’s control room. The official on call responded promptly and provided him with the contact number of the airport bus service team.

Within half an hour, staff confirmed that his backpack had been found. They offered two options, he could either collect it from the depot or wait for the same bus to return to his stop the next day.

He chose to wait. The next morning, the conductor of the same bus, Paramesh Beeregowda, contacted him directly, confirmed his location and personally returned the bag without any delay.

The man expressed his appreciation online, saying the whole process was much smoother than expected. He thanked BMTC and the airport team for their quick action and professionalism.

The story received wide attention on social media, with many users praising the conduct of BMTC staff. Some even shared similar positive experiences, expressing the helpful nature of Vayu Vajra bus workers.
