The 19.15 km long, yellow line, which is a fully elevated stretch with 16 stations, was earlier planned for completion by December 2021 but was significantly delayed due to civic and system-related issues.
The upcoming inspection will cover all critical systems, including track infrastructure, viaducts, station facilities, signalling systems, and other sub-components, ensuring safety and operational standards.
BMRCL will finalise the operation after consultations with the centre and state governments as soon as it receives CMRS approval.
PM Modi Likely To Inaugurate Stretch
Preparations are underway for the grand inauguration. The report added that the inauguration ceremony may take place in the first or second week of August, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to be invited to flag off the train.
