Bengaluru Power Cut: 8-Day Shutdown Announced By BESCOM; Check Dates, Timings And Affected Areas

Bengaluru Power Outage: The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has announced shutdown in multiple areas in Bengaluru over eight days in view of maintenance, repair, and upgrade work at various substations and 11 kV feeder lines. The scheduled outage will go on till October 31. BESCOM has urged residents to plan their day in advance to avoid inconvenience during the affected period.

BESCOM has assured residents that the electricity will be restored if the works are completed ahead of schedule.

Bengaluru Power Cut Timings Till October 31: 8 hour outage between 10 am and 6 pm.

In another update, the residents in Bengaluru are scheduled to witness traffic restrictions on Panathur Main Road due to repair and maintenance work on the stretch. As the white topping work on the road is expected to take a few more days, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has announced temporary traffic changes.
