In another news, Bengaluru witnessed two shocking incidents in 24 hours. Hours after the knife attack on two cab drivers at the city's airport, a passenger's erratic behaviour caused traffic disruption near Mekhri Circle on Sunday. A cab passenger suddenly began behaving erratically, creating chaos on the busy road.

The rider, identified as Santosh, allegedly attacked his cab driver. He climbed onto the roof of the car and started dancing and shouting incoherently. Onlookers filmed the scene on their phones. The video of the incident went viral on social media.

The passenger, who had booked a cab from Mysuru to Kempegowda International Airport, reportedly turned violent mid-journey. Santosh allegedly assaulted the cab driver, compelling him to stop the car immediately. However, following the incident, traffic police officials overpowered him and sent him to the Sadashivanagar Police station. Police said that the man has a history of mental health issues.
