Bengaluru Power Outage: The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has announced electricity supply cuts in multiple areas in Bengaluru till October 31 as a precautionary measure in view of electrical work.

As per Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL), there will be supply disruption in view of emergency maintenance work.

As per BESCOM, feeder maintenance work is being carried out in Sub-Division 1. The electricity supply will be shut from 10 am to 5 pm. BESCOM has urged residents to cooperate during this period.

Bengaluru Power Cut Areas

Hanumanthapura, Annethota, Jagannathapura, Nirvani Layout, Agnibanniraya Nagar, BA Gudipalya, and Ambedkar Nagar and surrounding areas will experience supply cuts on October 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29 and 31.

Meanwhile, Govindanagar, Housing Board, Gubbigate, Kuntammantota, Dibbur, BH Palya, PNR Palya, Kuppur, Honnenahalli Road, Haronahalli Road, PNR Palya, Kuppur and Hosahalli areas will face shutdowns on October 16, 18, 24, 26, 28 and 30.

In another news, a Class 12 student of Clarence High School in Bengaluru died after allegedly jumping from the second floor of the Carey Block on Monday morning, police said.

The incident took place during assembly hours at the school located on Pottery Road in Richards Town.
