BESCOM WhatsApp Helpline: With the WhatsApp helpline numbers of Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM), it has become way easier for residents to register power supply or outage-related grievances directly with the supply company.
Why BESCOM Launched WhatsApp Helpline Number
Despite Karnataka being a power-surplus state, Bengaluru faces frequent power cuts due to infrastructure issues and increased demand, leading to overloaded transformers and technical constraints.
The frequent power cut would often overwhelm residents, leading to Bescom’s helpline number 1912 getting flooded with calls. To manage the high volume of calls and enhance customer support, BESCOM introduced WhatsApp helpline numbers for multiple districts earlier this year, allowing customers to report grievances more efficiently.
