Bengaluru Power Shutdown On June 20: The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has announced electricity supply cuts in several areas June 20, Friday, in view of emergency maintenance work. The electricity supply will be cut for 7 hours from 10 am to 5 pm in Bengaluru. The supply will be restored earlier if work is completed ahead of schedule.

"Due to emergency maintenance work by KPTCL at the Mahalaxmi Layout Substation in Bengaluru, there will be a disruption in power supply across several areas under the N-7 sub-division of the Peenya division on Friday, June 20, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM,” BESCOM said in a statement.
