Bengaluru Power Cut: The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has announced a power outage at several locations due to scheduled maintenance work, starting from 10 am tomorrow, September 29. The planned electricity disruption will occur for 7 hours at different locations.

The BESCOM, in an X post, notified, informing about the link line work, said that it will be carried out at Keregodi substation, Nagarghatta, and Narasikatte substations in the Taluk. Hence, the power outage will take place at the following locations-

-Belagarhalli
-Kannughatta
-Nagarghatta
-Nagarghattakavalu
-Kabbarahatti
- N Melanaalli
- Keregodi
- Rangapur
- Hosalli
- Kallayyanapalya
- Ballekatte
- Narasikatte
- Chikkarangapura
- Aladahalli
- Havenahalli
- Kalleshwaranagar villages of the taluk.

The corporation has requested the residents to cooperate.

BESCOM Clarification On Billing Issues

BESCOM has addressed concerns over billing discrepancies in the Gruha Jyoti scheme, where many customers received incorrect or partial electricity bills in September. This issue arose due to meter readers using probes for surveys for the first time.

To rectify the situation, BESCOM will issue revised bills after corrections. Additionally, the deadline for electricity bill distribution has been extended from September 15 to September 25, providing customers with more time to receive and review their bills.
