Bengaluru: A shocking incident has come to light from Bengaluru, where a 19-year-old woman allegedly killed her newborn shortly after giving birth inside a toilet of a Foxconn factory. The facility, located in Bengaluru, serves as a top iPhone assembler for Apple.
Alerted by another employee, police arrived at the scene and confirmed the newborn's death. A case has since been registered, and an investigation is underway.

What Led The Teen To Take The Extreme Step?
The accused, identified as Renuka, is an employee at the Foxconn factory in Devanahalli. According to a report by NDTV, she gave birth inside a toilet on Wednesday. Authorities believe that the delivery was sudden and unplanned.
In a desperate attempt to hide the birth, the woman, who was unmarried, allegedly slit the infant's throat and concealed the body in a bag, fearing shame and stigma.
The incident came to light when another employee entered the restroom and discovered the remains. Police rushed to the scene, conducted an investigation and confirmed that the infant had been killed immediately after birth.
The 19-year-old has been admitted to a hospital for treatment. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.

Bengaluru: Woman Ties Boyfriend Up, Sets Him Ablaze
In a separate incident, a man was tied up by her girlfriend and was set ablaze using kerosene in Karnataka's Bengaluru. As per the police, the woman confessed to the crime, stating she planned to kill after realising the man's constant closeness with her ex-girlfriend and doubts over plans to marry her.
The incident took place under the Byadarahalli police station limits. The police revealed that the girl, Prema, tied up the 29-year-old man, Kiran, under the pretext of a "western-style proposal". The police said that both were in a relationship and worked at a mobile store in Rajajinagar.
