Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: The Bengaluru Traffic Police on Tuesday issued a traffic advisory for Wednesday in view of the match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The authority stated that the advisory has been issued to manage the huge crowd expected to gather in the stadium. While advising the residents to maximise the use of public transportation, it also suggested they follow the guidelines to avoid any inconveniences.
The traffic police, in its advisory, stated that parking will be prohibited on several roads, including Queens Road, MG Road, Link Road, Raj Bhavan Road, T Chowdaiah Road, Race Course Road, Central Street, and Cubbon Road. It further stated that the commuters will also not be allowed to park their vehicles on St Mark's Road, Museum Road, Kasturba Road, Lavelle Road, and Vittal Mallya Road. Apart from this, the authority also clarified that parking will not be allowed inside Cubbon Park.

However, the traffic police clarified that the residents will be allowed to park their vehicles at several designated sites, including St Joseph's Indian High School Ground, St Joseph's European School Ground, Freedom Park multi-level car parking, Garuda Mall parking, Shivajinagar Bus Stand, UB City parking, and Sree Kanteerava Stadium.
In its advisory, the Bengaluru traffic police stated that the decision has been taken to manage the crowd, adding that entry to the stadium will be allowed through gates on Cubbon Road, Link Road, and Queens Road. However, it clarified that gate E-10 on Queens Road is reserved for players, support staff, and VIPs.
The police stated that to provide relief to the spectators, pick-up and drop-off points for Ola, Uber, and autorickshaws have been arranged at BRV Ground and Manekshaw Parade Ground. Apart from this, the authority has also advised the residents to use BMTC buses and metro services to avoid the rush.
