Traffic Advisory: Bengaluru Traffic Police issued an advisory to limit vehicle movement on the Doddanekundi Main Road from August 14 to August 18 because of the railroads' U guard working there. Drivers heading in the other direction can use the ISRO Road and turn left at Karthik Nagar intersection to continue, while those traveling from the Outer Ring Road towards HAL or Doddanekundi can make a U-turn at this crossroads.
Starting August 19, all outward interstate private buses will be forbidden from parking to pick up and drop off passengers at the Hebbal junction.
Passengers must now travel the distance to the Ballari Road service road at Jakkur Aerodrome, from from where the Allalasandra ramp to NES begins.
"In view of the Railway 'U' guard work on Doddanakundi Main Road, the following traffic arrangements have been made to ensure smooth traffic flow," the Bengaluru Traffic Police posted on X.

Traffic police stated that this was done to alleviate congestion at the Hebbal intersection, which had grown congested owing to construction and limited road space. They stated that, while this change would cause temporary difficulty, it was made in response to popular demand among people.
It is vital to note that the railway construction is within the authority of the Mahadevapura and HAL Airport Traffic Police Stations.
Previously, a traffic advisory was issued for companies along the Outer Ring Road (ORR). In the alert, the government urged that businesses make work-from-home (WFH) arrangements on Wednesday, August 14, noting the long weekend and forecasts of heavy rain. M.N. Anucheth, the Joint Commissioner of Police (Bengaluru Traffic), stated in a letter to the Outer Ring Road Companies Association (ORRCA) that major traffic congestion might occur on the road.
