Bengaluru Traffic Update: There will be a restriction on vehicular movement for 90 days on Bengaluru’s Coca Cola Godown Road in view of the construction of a new railway bridge between Benniganahalli and Kasturinagar. The traffic ban began on June 14. The Coca Cola Godown Road will be shut for all types of vehicles, private and commercial, for the affected time period. The restrictions come under the jurisdiction of KR Puram Traffic Police.

The road is between the Sadanandanagar Bridge near Benniganahalli and the Old Madras Road junction.

Bengaluru Alternate Routes

To Old Madras Road: Vehicles from Kasturinagar should travel through Sadanandanagar and join Old Madras Road via the NGEF Signal route.

To Kasturinagar: Travellers coming from Old Madras Road can take a detour via Hebbal Ring Road to reach Kasturinagar.

The railway bridge construction is expected to take three months to complete. East Division Traffic DCP Sahil Bagla has advised the people to take note of restrictions to avoid inconvenience and ensure safety.

Bengaluru Weather Update

The temperature in the green city dropped significantly, bringing back the good old days for residents, as it experienced weather like that in a hill station. According to the IMD, the weather in Bengaluru is likely to remain pleasant as the city braces for heavy rainfall. But as per the IMD-Bengaluru director-in-charge, N Puviarasan, the weather system will continue for the next three days, after which temperatures will rise.
