Bengaluru Weather: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday informed that Bengaluru is expected to experience light to moderate rainfall with cloudy skies throughout the day. The city is also set to experience a significant dip in temperature in the upcoming days, the weather department stated. It further informed that the Silicon City has been experiencing cooler weather due to the impact of low-pressure systems.
The low-pressure systems have been activated in the recent weeks and are set to impact the weather of the city in the upcoming days. The minimum and maximum temperatures are likely to be around 17 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius, respectively. The weather department further forecast that the wind is expected to blow steadily from the East at a speed of 19 km/h, and the Air Quality Index (AQI) is likely to stand at 51, stating the good air quality in the silicon city.
The IMD informed that modern rainfall is likely to occur in several regions of the city on Friday. It further informed that scattered rainfall is expected in South Interior Karnataka and hilly regions of the state. The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) on X stated that inland districts of the state are likely to experience moderate to heavy fog on Friday. "Cloudy weather with moderate rain is likely across the state today. The rest of the days are likely to be dry. Inland districts of the state are likely to experience moderate to heavy fog," it stated.
The silicon city is set to experience light rainfall on Saturday too, and the humidity is expected to be around 66 per cent, the weather department informed. The minimum and maximum temperatures in the city will likely stay around 17 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively. The weather department has also advised the residents to avoid the unnecessary outings.
