Bengaluru Weather: Heavy showers lashed Bengaluru on Thursday around noon, which is already dealing with a water logging situation in several parts of the city. Several ‘X’ users shared visuals from different areas of Bengaluru. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a long rainy week for Bengaluru. While releasing the advisory, the IMD stated that the weather change will provide relief to the residents as they were suffering due to high temperatures for the past few days. It stated that other cities in Karnataka, along with Bengaluru, will receive rainfall due to an active cyclonic circulation in the Bay of Bengal.

Bengaluru Weather Forecast
IMD recently said hat the residents in Bengaluru are expected to experience light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms in the upcoming few days. The weather department stated that the capital city of Karnataka will receive rainfall along with thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds. It also stated that the city's temperature is also likely to decrease by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius from April 2 to April 4.
It stated that the rain will significantly reduce the temperature, as the residents have been experiencing higher temperatures in comparison to previous years. The weather department stated that the cyclonic circulation is currently located over the Southwest Bay off the Tamil Nadu coast.
Apart from Bengaluru, the IMD has also released an advisory for other districts of Karnataka, including Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Shivamogga, Hassan, Chikkamagluru, Kodagu, Mysuru, Haveri, Dharwad, Belagavi, Chamarajanagar, and Gadag districts.
Apart from this, it has also issued a yellow alert for the next two days, adding that the isolated regions of Karnataka are expected to experience hailstorms during these days. The weather department stated that these regions are also expected to witness a significant dip in temperature, further warning the residents to limit their outings and follow the guidelines.
