Weather In Hyderabad: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad has issued a yellow alert for the city and widespread rain, accompanied by gusty winds and hailstorms across Telangana till Sunday. Hyderabad residents will witness a generally cloudy sky today, with the possibility of rain, thunderstorms, or dust storms, as forecast by the weather body. The intense heat will give way to cooler temperatures, cloudy skies, and widespread thunderstorms across the state.
Day and night temperatures, which were above normal, are expected to drop notably, a Telangana Today report said. According to the IMD, Hyderabad, maximum temperatures will see a gradual decline of two to four degrees Celsius over the next four days. Thunderstorm warnings have been issued for all districts of Telangana. Hyderabad is under a yellow alert until April 5 for thunderstorms, lightning, and squalls.
Orange Alert In THESE Areas
On Thursday, an orange (high) alert has been issued for Adilabad, Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Medak, and Kamareddy, warning of thunderstorms with lightning, gusty winds (40-50 kmph), and hailstorms. Additionally, Nirmal, Jagtial, Peddapalle, J. Bhupalpally, Rajanna Sircilla, and other nearby areas are under a 'yellow' alert. Similar orange and yellow alerts have been issued for all districts of Telangana through Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, indicating a prolonged period of thunderstorms and rain across the state.
