Bengaluru Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday stated that Bengaluru and some other regions of Karnataka will continue to receive light to heavy rainfall in the upcoming days. It stated that the Silicon City has been receiving rain for the past few days, providing relief to the residents from the scorching heat. The weather department stated that while the humidity is expected to be around 56 per cent for the next few days, the skies are expected to be cloudy during most hours of the day.

Rainfall Expected In These Regions

The weather department stated that the residents of the city are expected to witness pleasant weather as light to moderate rainfall has been predicted in several regions, including Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Bengaluru, Belagavi, Bagalkote, Dharwad, Koppal, Vijayapura, Chikkaballapur, Chikkamagaluru, Mandya, Ramanagara, Hassan, Mysuru, Tumakuru, and Kodagu.

However, the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) stated that some parts of Karnataka are also expected to receive heavy rain along with thunderstorms and strong wind. While sharing a weather report for the next five days on X, the weather department stated that North Interior districts are expected to receive moderate rainfall.

"Thunderstorm, lightning is likely across the state today & tomorrow, scattered moderate rain over coastal, hilly and south interior districts. Moderate rain with scattered showers is likely over North Interior districts," KSNDMC stated in the post. The weather department urged the residents to follow the guidelines and limit their outings to avoid any inconveniences.

The IMD stated that Bengaluru will continue to experience light to moderate rain with cloudy skies on Monday. It stated that while the maximum temperature of the city is expected to be around 32 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature will be recorded around 23 degrees Celsius, adding that 58 per cent humidity is expected in the city for the upcoming few days.
