Bhopal Drug Bust: Drugs and raw materials worth Rs 1,814 crore were seized from a factory in Bhopal district after a joint team of Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) and Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB) of Delhi busted a major drug racket near the Madhya Pradesh capital. Gujarat Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghavi shared the information on the massive drug bust as he hailed the efforts of the Gujarat ATS and NCB Delhi. The factory, located in Bagroda Industrial Area, near Bhopal was manufacturing illicit drug MD or mephedrone.
"Kudos to Gujarat ATS and NCB (Ops), Delhi, for a massive win in the fight against drugs! Recently, they raided a factory in Bhopal and seized MD and materials used to manufacture MD, with a staggering total value of Rs 1814 crores!" Sanghavi said.

The Gujarat minister lauded the "tireless efforts" of the law enforcement agencies in the fight against drugs in the country. Delhi Drug Bust: Rs 5,600-Crore Cocaine, Marijuana Seized
Earlier this month, the Delhi Police seized cocaine and hydroponic marijuana worth Rs 5,600 crore in one of biggest drug bust in the city's history. A total of 560 kilograms of cocaine and 40 kilograms of hydroponic marijuana were seized from a godown in Mahipaplpur in South Delhi. The police arrested a key distributor, Tushar Goyal, and his associates Himanshu Kumar, Aurangzeb Siddiqui and Bharat Kumar Jain.
