Bhopal Horror: Man Stabs Ex-Girlfriend On Face And Neck, Then Attacks Sister Who Tries To Save Her

Bhopal Crime News: In a tragic incident in Bhopal, a man allegedly launched a life-threatening attack on his former girlfriend after she refused to talk to him. The accused also attacked her elder sister, who approached to help, leading to severe injuries. The accused later fled the spot as the attack led to panic among the locals, the officials informed. The Chhola police have registered a case of attempted murder and have launched a search for the absconding accused.

As per the officials, Akshay Chandel, the accused, stopped both the sisters while they were passing through the region on Tuesday evening. Chandel initially tried to have a conversation with Payal, the victim; however, he later turned aggressive after she refused to talk to him over the past issues. The accused attacked Payal with a knife and also stabbed Roshni Ahirwar, her elder sister, when she tried to intervene.

As per the reports, the victim sustained severe injuries to her neck, face, back, and hands in the attack. Roshni, who stepped forward to save her sister, sustained a deep wound on her cheek after being struck by the knife. The locals rushed to the spot upon hearing their screams; however, the accused fled the spot immediately while issuing death threats to the sisters.

The Chhola Police have registered a case against the accused and have launched a search operation, reported NaiDuniya. While providing details, Sub-Inspector Pritam Singh stated that the accused is currently absconding, adding that a team is actively searching for him.

In a separate incident on June 2, three members of the same family were murdered in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. 65-year-old Virendra Vaishya, his 60-year-old wife Anita, and 40-year-old daughter Meenakshi, all residents of South Malaka Square in the Kotwali police station area, were killed by being hit on the head. After the murders, the three bodies were locked inside a room, and the door was locked from the outside.
