Bihar BPSC Exam Protest: Several students in Bihar are staging indefinite protests demanding a re-examination of the 70th BPSC exam. The protest continued on Thursday too, however, December 26 saw chaos on the strike site. A video shared by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi showed police retorting to the protest by lathi-charge on students.

"I had said in Parliament that in the same way that Eklavya's thumb was cut off, in the same way, the thumbs of the youth are cut off by leaking the papers. The latest example of this is Bihar. BPSC candidates are raising their voice against the paper leak and demanding cancellation of the exam," wrote Rahul Gandhi in a post on X.

"But to hide its failure, the NDA government is instead resorting to lathi-charge on the students. This is extremely shameful and reprehensible. Playing with the future of students will not be tolerated. We are with them and will fight to get them justice," he added.

Purnia MP Pappu Yadav Joined BPSC Protest

Several prominent personalities also extended their support to the students. On Wednesday, Independent MP Pappu Yadav from Purnia joined the protest. Speaking to ANI, Yadav said, "We urge all opposition MPs and MLAs to join the protest. People should sit outside the residences of ruling party MPs and MLAs across Bihar. What is political about this? These students have been protesting for so many days, and their only demand is a re-examination."

On Tuesday, YouTuber and educator Faisal Khan, popularly known as Khan Sir, visited the students participating in the hunger strike.
