Lok Sabha Election 2024: The Congress, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Left parties on Friday announced their seat-sharing formula in Bihar for the upcoming Lok Sabha election. The deal has been finalised for 37 of the 40 Lok Sabha seats across the state.
As part of the seat-sharing deal between the 'Mahagathbandhan' allies, RJD will field its candidates on 26 seats. Meanwhile, the Congress' candidates will contest 9 seats, including Kishanganj and Patna Sahib. Moreover, three seats have been assigned to the Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) (CPI-ML).

In Bihar, the polling for the 2024 Lok Sabha election will span all seven phases. There are 40 parliamentary constituencies across the state. The first phase of polling will be held on April 19, the second phase on April 26, the third phase on May 7, the fourth phase on May 13, the fifth phase on May 20, the sixth phase on May 25, and the seventh phase on June 1.
