Rabri Devi Bungalow Row: RJD leader and former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi finally started vacating her official residence at 10 Circular Road in Patna, marking an end of controversy triggered after she refused to leave the bungalow despite the government order. The process of removing belongings from Devi's official residence began on Thursday.
Furniture, air conditioners, and other household items were transported via a pickup truck to the Leader of the Opposition, Tejashwi Yadav's official residence at 1 Polo Road, hinting that she may live with her son.
Deadline Of Vacating Home Expired
According to reports, the government had issued a notice to vacate the residence at 10 Circular Road, the deadline for which expired on June 15. Following the issuance of the notice, the process of shifting belongings from the residence started. However, Devi sought some additional time.

According to sources, these items are for family use, and other items are gradually being relocated to various locations. Some items have already been shifted to several locations. It is reported that a large quantity of household items has already been moved to the cowshed on Gola Road and a private residence in Kautilya Nagar.
Now, the remaining items in the residence are also being removed in a phased manner. However, no official information has yet been released regarding the items being moved to the newly allotted government residence.
Meanwhile, Rabri requested the construction of an additional room in the new residence for RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav. No final decision has yet been taken by the government in this regard.
Given the ongoing shifting over the past few days, it is believed that preparations for vacating the government residence at 10 Circular Road are reaching their final stages. The Lalu family has not yet announced a specific date for vacating the residence.
