Chaos erupted on Kaimbwala Road behind Sukhna Lake on Wednesday afternoon when Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Daljit Singh of the Chandigarh Police created a ruckus while driving under the influence of alcohol. The heavily intoxicated ASI rammed into nearly a dozen vehicles one after another, causing panic on the road.

According to eyewitnesses, the ASI was so inebriated that he could barely see anything in front of his vehicle. After continuously hitting other vehicles, his car finally came to a halt after colliding head-on with an oncoming school bus.

Following the accident, bystanders immediately informed the Police Control Room (PCR). The PCR team that arrived at the scene faced significant difficulty in extracting the ASI from the vehicle. After a considerable struggle, police personnel managed to pull him out of the car.
