Chennai Power Cut Oct 25: In the wake of regular maintenance and repair work, the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNPDCL) has announced a scheduled power outage in several places in Chennai.

The electricity outage will remain in place for a few hours, and the supply will be resumed before 5 pm tomorrow, Saturday, as the maintenance work is expected to conclude by that time.

Chennai Power Outage On Saturday: List Of Affected Areas

The power outage will affect relatively fewer neighbourhoods, and the supply will be resumed as soon as the required routine work is completed. The affected areas include Jawaharlal Nagar, Kamaraj Nagar, Padiyanallur, Nethaji Nagar, and Bypass Road.

Multiple areas in several Tamil Nadu districts had to face a power outage on Thursday. The Tamil Nadu districts that faced power shutdown are Erode, Karur, Villupuram, Krishnagiri, Madurai, Nagapattinam, Palladam, Perambalur, Mettur, Tirupattur, Vellore, and Coimbatore.
