Chennai Power Cut On May 21: TANGEDCO Announces No Electricity Supply In Several Areas On Wednesday; Affected Localities, Timings

Chennai Power Cut: As per TANGEDCO, there shall be a 5 hour supply outage from 9 am to 2 pm on Wednesday, May 21. The electricity department, however, assured that supply will be resumed before 2 pm if the works are completed ahead of schedule.

Chennai Power Cut: Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) has announced electricity supply cuts in several areas on May 21, Wednesday for maintenance works. There shall be a 5 hour supply outage from 9 am to 2 pm on Wednesday. The electricity department, however, assured that supply will be resumed before 2 pm if the works are completed ahead of schedule. It has also advised the residents in the affected areas to plan their day accordingly to avoid hassles.

TANGEDCO conducts frequent power outages for maintenance purposes. During these outages, electrical staff will handle various maintenance tasks, such as minor repairs and clearing tree branches from power lines.
