Chennai Power Cut On May 25: TANGEDCO Announces Electricity Outage In Several Areas On Sunday | Check Affected Areas

Chennai Power Cut: Chennai braces for another power outage as the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board has announced restrictions in power supply on Sunday (May 25).

Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO), the state electricity board, is conducting power cuts in the city to carry out maintenance work so as to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the people during the peak period.

Chennai Power Cut: Timings

The power outage will affect various areas of the Tamil Nadu capital on Sunday between 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. 

Moreover, the TANGEDCO has said that the uninterrupted supply of electricity will be restored at 2:00 om if the maintenance work is completed by then.

Chennai Power Cut this month

This month, the city has faced massive power cuts. TANGEDCO had announced scheduled supply disruptions on May 2, 8, 9, 15, 17, and 19 to 23 in multiple areas for the maintenance works.
