Chhath Puja Special Train: Railways To Run Train For North Bihar From October 22 | Check Schedule, Halts

Railway News: In a major relief for the people of North Bihar, the Indian Railways has announced a special train from Dhanbad for people returning home for the Chhath puja.

The announcement has been made in light of the long waiting lists for regular and special trains to North Bihar.

According to the railway department, the Chhath special train will run between Dhanbad and Raxaul from October 22. The return train will depart from Raxaul on October 23. The special train, which previously operated via the Jasidih-Jhajha route, will now run via Gomoh, Koderma, Paharpur, Tilaiya, Rajgir, and Nalanda.

Chhath Puja Special Train: Schedule

-03301 Dhanbad Raxaul Special will run on October 22, 24, 26 and 28. Departing from Dhanbad at 5:50 pm, it will reach Raxaul at 10:00 am next day.

The train will reach Gomoh at 6:18 pm, Parasnath at 6:44, Hazaribagh Road at 7:12, Koderma at 7:44, Paharpur at 8:28 pm, Wazirganj at 9:35 pm, Rajgir at 11:10 pm, Nalanda at 11:25 pm, Sitamarhi at 7:40 am the next day and Raxaul at 10:00 am.

-03302 Raxaul Dhanbad Special will run on October 23, 25, 27 and 29. Departing from Raxaul at 11:25 am, it will reach Dhanbad at 7:30 am next day.

It will reachSitamarhi at 1:15 pm, Nalanda at 11:15 pm, Rajgir at 11:28 am, Paharpur at 3:20 am, Koderma at 4:00 pm, Hazaribagh Road at 4:32 pm, Parasnath at 5:02 pm, Gomoh at 6:04 am and Dhanbad at 7:30 am.

Coach details

The Chhath Puja Special Train between Dhanbad and Raxaul will make four trips on each sides. To accomodate the rise in passengers on the route during the festival, the Railways has planned to run the train with 14 general class and two third AC coaches.
