Chhattisgarh Elections 2023:  As the poll begins for the second phase on Chhattisgarh's 70 assembly seats on Friday, the Chief Minister of State Bhupesh Baghel listed the reasons that voters would consider before voting for the grand old party. While interacting with Press Trust of India on Friday, he said that the farmers would vote for him because the state government is procuring 20 quintals of wheat from them, paying a lucrative and fair remuneration of Rs 3,200.

He also reminded the farm voters of the loan waivers, his government undertook during this tenure.

"Farmers will vote for us because 20 quintals of wheat are being bought from them, Rs 3,200 will be given to them for wheat and their loans will be waved off," he said.
