Jagran Correspondent | Bilaspur: In a strange case, people were shocked to find pictures of a chief justice and two other people at a cremation ground in Deori village of Chhattisgarh. The villagers quickly informed Sipat police about the incident. The youth present there fled after seeing the villagers. However, the locals managed to nab one of them and handed him to the police.
Upon receiving information, the Sipat police team soon reached the cremation ground and started interrogating the youth. While conducting a search in the area, the cops also found traces of dead fish lying on the ground.
What happened at the scene?
On Saturday, some villages observed some suspicious activity at the Deori cremation ground. As the locals gathered to witness the scene, the youths performing those began to flee.
While the others managed to flee, the villagers caught one of them and alerted the police. Upon interrogation, the youth identified himself as Rishikesh Kumar, a resident of Rajkishore Nagar. During the inspection of the cremation ground, photographs of Chief Justice Ramesh Kumar Sinha and two other people were found there. Dead fish and some other items were also present.
Shocking Reason Revealed
During the interrogation, Kumar revealed that one of his relatives, identified as Priyanshu Bole, was in jail in connection to a stabbing case. Torwa police had arrested Bole and sent him to jail following a court order.
Kumar revealed that he had contacted a tantric through the internet to secure bail. He then went to the cremation ground for the tantric ritual.

The Tantric Connection
Further investigation revealed that a tantric was contacted through social media to perform tantric rituals for bail. Subsequently, tantric rituals were performed at the cremation ground. Police officials have refrained from providing further details. Police claim that the matter is under investigation and further details of the incident will become clear only after the investigation.

Suspicious activities related to occult practices have been reported in the Deori area earlier too. A few months ago, some people threw a dead chicken, lemons, and other items in the courtyard of a villager's house. This sparked speculation that occult practices were taking place.
