Delhi-Noida Chilla Road: Industrial Development Commissioner (IDC) and Noida Authority Chairman, Deepak Kumar, chaired a meeting on Saturday to review the authority's ongoing projects. The meeting was attended by Noida Authority CEO Lokesh M and other senior officials.
Chilla Elevated Road
The review began with the civil department's projects, with a focus on completing the administrative building at the earliest. The authorities discussed the Chilla Elevated Road project, which aims to improve connectivity between Noida and Delhi. The project is expected to be completed on time and with quality.

The meeting also reviewed the progress of other key projects, including the Bhangel Elevated Road and the Yamuna floodplain parallel elevated road project. The authorities discussed the possibility of developing the latter project in conjunction with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
Uniform Policy For Allotments
The IDC directed the authorities of the three development authorities to hold a joint meeting to discuss and finalise a uniform policy for allotments. This move aims to bring consistency in policies and avoid confusion among allottees.
Addressing Environmental Concerns
The meeting also addressed environmental concerns, with the IDC directing officials to take up the issue of pollution in the Shahdara drain with the Delhi government. A comprehensive plan is to be prepared to clean up the drain and mitigate the nuisance caused by its foul smell.
The authorities reviewed various industrial, institutional, and commercial projects, including the upcoming industrial plot auction. The IDC emphasised the need to ensure transparency in the auction process.
Noida Authority Holds Joint Meeting with Other Authorities
The IDC also held a joint meeting with officials from the Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway authorities to discuss matters of mutual interest and explore ways to streamline processes.
