Cockroach Janata Party: The website of the Cockroach Janta Party, the hyped satirical movement, was taken down by the government on Saturday, founder Abhijeet Dipke informed. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Dipke stated that the movement's website was taken down by the government. He stated that the website had 10 lakh active members and over 6 lakh people had sought resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan following the NEET UG paper leak. While describing the action "dictatorial", he asserted that the government was scared of the movement.

Dipke, in his post, alleged that the founding members were being punished for raising the key issues and awakening the youth. "The government has taken down our iconic website. 10 Lakh cockroaches had signed up on our website has members. 6 Lakh cockroaches had signed a petition to demand the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan. Why is the government so scared of cockroaches? But this dictatorial behaviour is opening the eyes of India's youth," he said in the post.

However, he pointed out that a new website is being made, adding that the government "cannot get rid of the cockroaches" so easily. "Our only crime is we were demanding a better future for ourselves. But you can't get rid of us that easily. We’re working on a new home right now. Cockroaches never die," Dipke added.

Earlier, Dipke had alleged that both his personal and professional Instagram accounts got hacked, adding that he was unable to log in for hours. He further alleged that the accounts linked with the movement have faced fresh restrictions in the past few days.

"Crackdown on Cockroach Janta Party. Instagram page hacked. My personal Instagram hacked. Twitter account withheld. Back up account also taken down," Dipke wrote. While some of the opposition leaders have supported the movement, the BJP leaders have raised questions on the funding and background.
