Dehradun Traffic Advisory: Two processions will be held in Dehradun on Friday. The traffic police have requested the public to use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience during this time.
The procession for Shri Majjinendra Panch kalyanak Pratishtha Mahotsav will begin at 11 am from the Panchayati Mandir Jain Dharamshala.
The procession will begin at the Panchayati Mandir Jain Dharamshala, Aadhat Bazaar, Saharanpur Chowk, Jhanda Bazaar, Kotwali, Paltan Bazaar, Sarnimal Bazaar, Dhamaawala, Sarafa Bazaar, Pipal Mandi, Raja Road, and Prince Chowk, concluding at the Panchayati Mandir Jain Dharamshala. Devotees participating in the procession will use half of the road, and traffic will operate on the other half along with the procession. Traffic will be diverted on these routes if necessary.
-After the procession leaves the Panchayati temple, traffic going from Prince Chowk to Saharanpur Chowk will be diverted towards Tyagi Road.
-When the procession reaches Aadhat Bazaar, no traffic will travel from Prince Chowk towards Saharanpur Chowk. Traffic going from Prince Chowk to Saharanpur Chowk will be diverted to Haridwar Road.
-When the procession reaches Saharanpur Chowk, traffic coming from Patel Nagar Mandi and Kanwali Road will be partially diverted through Balliwala. Traffic will be diverted intermittently from Saharanpur Chowk.
-Once the Shobha Yatra completely enters Jhanda Bazaar, traffic will be normalised from all places.
-When the Shobha Yatra reaches Prince Chowk from Raja Road, the traffic going from Prince Chowk towards Tehsil Chowk will be diverted towards Doon Chowk via Chandan Nagar Cut.
-When the procession reaches Panchayati Mandir from Prince Chowk, the traffic going from Prince Chowk to Railway Station will be diverted towards Saharanpur Road via Tyagi Road.

On the occasion of Prakash Parv, a procession will be taken out from Gurudwara Patel Nagar at 1 pm. The procession will start from Gurudwara Patel Nagar and will conclude at Saharanpur Chowk - Lakkhibagh Police Chowki - Darshani Gate - Dhamaawala - Paltan Bazaar - Darshanlal Chowk - Buddha Chowk - Subhash Road - Gurudwara Shri Nanak Niwas Subhash Road. Traffic will also run along with the procession. The procession will run on the left side of the road and traffic will also continue to run on the right side. If required, traffic will be partially diverted from Patel Nagar Mandi, Lalpul, Balliwala Chowk and Saharanpur Chowk.
-When the procession reaches Saharanpur Chowk, traffic coming from Patel Nagar Mandi and Kanwali Road will be partially diverted through Balliwala. Traffic will be diverted intermittently from Saharanpur Chowk.
-Once the procession completely enters the Darshani Gate, traffic will be normalised from all places.
-As the procession moves from Ghantaghar towards Darshanlal, traffic coming from Chakrata Road will be diverted towards Orient Chowk. Traffic going from Orient Chowk to Ghantaghar will be allowed to pass intermittently.
-When the procession reaches Darshan Lal Chowk, traffic coming from Tehsil Chowk will be diverted towards the Clock Tower. Also, traffic coming from Lansdowne Chowk towards Darshan Lal Chowk will be directed towards Kanak Chowk.
-When the procession reaches Buddha Chowk, traffic coming from Doon Chowk will be diverted to Darshan Lal Chowk. Traffic coming from Cross Road to Buddha Chowk will be diverted via Manoj Clinic to CJM Tiraha.
-After the procession passes Darshan Lal Chowk, traffic from Lansdowne Chowk will be diverted towards Darshan Lal.
-After the Shobha Yatra passes Buddha Chowk, traffic from Manoj Clinic and Buddha Chowk will be diverted towards Cross Road.
-Traffic will be allowed to flow intermittently from MKP Chowk during the procession. Furthermore, no traffic will be diverted from CMI and Racecars Chowk towards MKP Chowk.
-Traffic will be normalised once the Shobha Yatra enters the Gurudwara.
