President Droupadi Murmu is on a three-day visit to Dehradun in Uttarakhand from June 19 to June 21. President Murmu will take part in various programs in several parts of the city. During her visit, the authorities have made changes to the traffic routes for three days.
Route diversions have been announced for those travelling to Rishikesh, Haridwar and Mussoorie. “To avoid any inconvenience, use link roads, two-wheelers and public transport vehicles more. Emergency service vehicles will be allowed to pass. The people of Dehradun are asked to cooperate with the police by using the diversion plan decided in the program,” Lokjeet Singh, SP Traffic, Dehradun, said in an official statement.
Traffic Diversions For Vehicles Going To Mussoorie
According to the advisory, vehicles travelling to Mussoorie on June 20 between 8 AM to 12 PM from EC Road will be diverted via Survey Chowk, Sahasradhara Crossing, IT Park and Sai Mandir. Vehicles to Mussoorie from Ghantaghar will be sent via The Great Value, Canal Road, Kath Banla Bridge and Sai Mandir.

Vehicles going to Mussoorie from Hathibadkal and Dilaram will be sent from Dilaram to Great Value via Canal Road via Kath Bungalow Bridge and Sai Mandir to Mussoorie. Vehicles going to Mussoorie from the Asharodi-Premnagar area will go from ISBT to Shimla Bypass to GMS Road to Ballupur Chowk to Cantt-Anarwala to Mussoorie.
Traffic Diversions For Vehicles On Dehradun-Haridwar-Rishikesh Corridor
Vehicles coming to Dehradun from Rishikesh on June 21 between 8 AM to 1 PM will have to go from Ranipokhari Bhogpur via Thanas, via the number six bridge, Sahasradhara crossing and Survey Chowk.
Vehicles going to Dehradun from Haridwar will be diverted via Haniyawala flyover service lane from Doiwala Chowk via Dudhli road and will enter Dehradun city from Kargil Chowk.
Vehicles going to Haridwar and Rishikesh from Mussoorie will go via Kuthal Gate, Old Mussoorie Road, Sai Mandir, Kath Bungalow, Kirshali Chowk, IT Park, Sahasradhara Crossing, Number Six Bridge and Police Stations. Additional traffic diversions have been made in the Dehradun-Haridwar Rishikesh Corridor.
